Colenimo - Spring/Summer 14

E dopo la collezione PE 2013 che ho postato ad inizio primavera, ecco anche la collezione Colenimo della stagione corrente. Deliziosa e anch'essa ispirata al vintage anni 20 e 30, ne adoro soprattutto la reinterpretazione del vintage che si accosta a capi più moderni pur rimanendo fedele ai richiami del passato, e il tutto è davvero stiloso e facile da indossare. Questo brand mi piace sempre più!

After the SS13 collection I posted early this spring, here we go with the current Colenimo SS14 collection. Adorable and vintage inspired as the other one, it recalls 20s and 30s lines and cuts, and I really love the fact it's a vintage inspired and modern mix, it makes it so cool and still totally wearable in these days. This brand is growing and growing to my heart!

Avevo pensato di fare un piccolo e personale riassunto degli abiti più belli delle vincitrici come Miglior Attrice dagli anni 20 a oggi... Ma poi... ammetto che per fare ricerche per questo post mi sono davvero persa nei più oscuri meandri di google, ammirando le foto provenienti dalla Hollywood del passato fino ad arrivare a quelle più recenti, che ricordo molto bene. E alla fine l'amore per il cinema ha prevalso, e questo post da breve riassunto che doveva essere, si è trasformato in breve storia delle vincitrici del premio Oscar come miglior attrice. Spero non vi dispiaccia andare a ripercorrere un po' di Storia del Cinema nell'attesa della notte degli Oscar! Andiamo a vedere quali look al passo coi loro tempi hanno scelto le attrici nel corso degli anni (e ripassiamo un po' di nomi e film!)

I thought doing a short and personal recollection of best dresses of best actresses winners from the 20s till today... But then... I admit google entirely sucked me away, admiring Hollywood stars from the past till the latter, and by the end my love for Cinema prevailed on me, and this post, from a short recap with best of the best, turned into a short history of winners of Best performance by an actress in a leading role. I hope you don't mind running through some History of Cinema while we wait for this year ceremony!
So let's see which looks the actressess chose year by year (with a recap of names and movies!)

Jessica Chastain

Premetto che non mi sono mai troppo interessata al glamour, alle paillettes e ai lustrini, e ai grandi nomi della moda. Mai in vita mia, diciamo che proprio non sono nelle mie corde e fondamentalmente non mi interessano nemmeno le sfilate. Però i red carpet, trattandosi di Cinema, sotto sotto mi piace guardarli, en passant, e a volte catturano la mia attenzione e mi soffermo ad osservare meglio. E quest'anno c'è stato un bel vedere, alla notte degli Oscar! Tanto glamour classico che invece mi piace un sacco, perché mi ricorda la Hollywood che fu, quella dei fasti degli anni '30 e '40, soprattutto.
Jessica Chastain incarnava precisamente questo spirito, ed è esattamente ciò che mi aspetto da una attrice che sfila sul red carpet degli Oscar: il glamour classico di un abito fantastico, fasciante e coi lustrini, scollatura a cuore, un piccolo strascico, perfetto! Capelli di un rosso intenso e con onde retrò, alla Rita Hayworth per intenderci. Rossetto rosso e sorriso perfetto, ecco come voglio le mie dive! Perché sì, sono di un'altra categoria rispetto alle comune mortali, e almeno durante la notte degli Oscar pretendo che vadano in giro conciate bene, ben pettinate e ben truccate, queste donne che a differenza nostra hanno l'occasione di indossare cotanti vestiti! E poi diciamocelo, ci fanno un po' sognare... Ed è giusto poter staccare dalla realtà ogni tanto, e sognare un po'.

Short premise, I never really was into glamour, sequins and such things, neither into big names and fashion brands. Never ever, let's just say it's not my cup of tea and I am not that interested in catwalks either. But since they're related to Cinema, I like red carpets and sometimes something gets my attention. And this year it was great looking at the Academy Awards red carpet! Lots of classic glamour that I really like since I love classic movies and stars from the past, the Old Hollywood of past times, 30s and 40s expecially.
Jessica Chastain was an epitome of this style, and it's exactly what I expect from a great actress doing the catwalk on the Oscars red carpet: the classic glamour of a stunning dress, heart neckline, bodycon with a little train and sequins, way perfect! Perfectly red hair with soft waves reminiscent of Rita Hayworth. Red lipstick and perfect smile, that's how I want my Oscar ladies to be! Since yep, they don't belong to real world, and I pretend they dress up properly during the Academy Awards night, well dressed and well styled, those women that differ from us and who have a real excuse to wear dresses like these! And let's tell, they make us dream a bit.. It's nice to forget reality some times and to dream a little bit.
