"Nobody's Perfect!"

How stylish are those two ladies? What I hear? They are not actual ladies but men disguised as women? Oh! I really love their looks! :)
Josephine (played by Tony Curtis) and Daphne (played by Jack Lemmon) are so incredibly elegant in their cloche hats, pearl necklaces and hairbands, drop waist dresses and coats, purses and heels! Their feminine look in "Some Like it Hot", one of the greatest comedies of all times filmed by Billy Wilder in 1959, is well representing what was in fashion for everyday in the late 20s, the roaring era where the movie is settled. I expecially enjoy Jack Lemmon who looks perfect with a cloche hat!

I am a great fan of the 20s look, and not just for the shiny, sequins and feathers flappers look. I love the style and elegance of the drop waist dresses, the cloche hats and all the accessories that were in fashion in the 20s, which made even the simplest outfit so elegant. I think that those are timeless things that can be easily integrated in an everyday look. I try to do it most than I can, and I feel good with it!
In my wardrobe you can find several drop waist dresses, a couple of cloche hats, and many pairs of mary janes and t-bar strap shoes! These clothes and shoes can be mixed with more modern pieces to get a contemporary vintage inspired look.
Last but not least, I am in awe to have a straw cloche hat! I hope that someday I can find one to love.

Not falling leaves

Here I am, looking at the window. Not many falling leaves yet...
and here's an outfit I've been wearing in these first autumn days.

blue/grey dress: Camaieu - grey tights: Tezenis - trench coat: Zara - boots: Aldo Shoes

Mmmmm first off, sorry for the silly face and pose. I'm still figuring out how and when and where taking pictures. I'm a bit shy and feel a bit silly. But I promise I will get better at this!
The retro looking dress is from last winter sales at Camaieu, as the black trench coat which is another winter sales score, this time at Zara: it was the last one and I got it for just 29.90.
And the boots... They are my very first Aldo's and I just got in Piazzola market, the market in Bologna town centre, for 1/5 of the price!! They are great, beautiful, perfect color and right heel and last but not least, VERY comfortable! A great find. I will be wearing these a lot this Winter!

necklace: Pimkie - earrings: Accessorize

I love my skeleton keys necklace and I wanted some key pendant earrings to pair with it from long time. I finally found these great ones at Accessorize and I have a crush for it! They instantly add some quirk to any outfit I've been pairing with. These were quite cheap, even tho Accessorize is not really the cheapest shop: I prefer to buy my bijoux in other places actually, as I think their quality is not always worth the price! But some times their things are too lovely to pass by. :)

Autumn is yet to come

peter pan collar top: Pimkie - skirt & belt: Zara - ballet flats: Camaieu - necklace: Pimkie

There was a big storm last week and since then the degrees has raised down. Though the nights are now pretty cold, we still have beautiful and warm weather at daylight. I can't wait for autumn days to come, but in the mean time I try to enjoy this silly weather!
A few days ago I went to the park near to my place and did absolutely nothing for a couple of hours, nothing else than obsebving people, pigeons and (a few) falling leaves. I had a relaxing time and I took some pics.
But first, my outfit :)
I am sorry, I don't know yet how to and where to take pics.. so I went to my building's garden - which is populated by many vases and my two lovely cats, as you can see. The truth is, they actually wanted to appear in my first outfits photos! ;)

My fav shoes

As my first post, let me show off my favourite shoes. First, I need to say that I always had a crush for mary janes and t-bar strap shoes. With heels or flats, I have several of them and I really can't stop buying it!
I found these last year in the marketplace nearby my home for a ridiculous price - just 15€! Although they have a 9cm heel, they are truly comfortable and they go with everything. It was love at first sight :)
