Town Flowers

E dopo il mega post di ieri sulle fantasie a fiori autunnali, ancora vestitini a fiorellini... Questo è stato il mio preferito dell'estate, ve l'ho già mostrato qui e mi piace tantissimo, l'ho messo un sacco di volte. Sta bene addosso, mi piace tanto la stampa, sta bene con tutto... Ed è vero che in Estate è facilissimo infilare un vestitino carino, un paio di sadali e via, ma questo vestito mi accompagna anche ora che è Autunno perché si abbina facilmente a tutto e sono sicura che starà bene anche con le calze colorate, gli stivali e un cardigan (e una maglietta a collo alto sotto). E' stato il mio autoregalo di compleanno assieme a quest'altro vestito e devo dire che me li sono goduti entrambi - e me li godrò ancora tanto. La stoffa è un jersey che si adatta bene anche alla mezza stagione, taglio fit and flare che cade benissimo adosso, fantasia a fiorellini provenzale e spalline sottili che ultimamente si vedevano poco in giro, nessuna soprpresa che questo vestitino sia andato sold out in pochissimo tempo - ma sono riuscita a prenderlo al volo! E non posso che parlarne benissimo. Sono rimasta talmente contenta e soddisfatta del mio primo acquisto su Dorothy Perkins che ora non faccio altro che esplorare il sito tutti i giorni o quasi - e voglio tutto! L'unica pecca è che sembra essere tutto molto popolare.. che le cose finiscono in un attimo. Per esempio un mese fa avevo adocchiato due o tre vestitini (facciamo anche quattro o cinque) e ho atteso finché non hanno lanciato la promozione autunnale (fanno spessissimo promozioni attraverso codici sconto). Ma devono averla pensata tutte come me, perché quando la promozione è iniziata PUF! scomparsi, taglia esaurita per 4 dei 5 vestitini che avevo nella wish list (mi sono spariti letteralmente sotto agli occhi!) . Ergo, volevo prenderne almeno un paio e ne ho portato a casa solo uno e non del colore che volevo inizialmente, sigh. La prossima volta sarò più decisa e veloce! Ora per esempio hanno degli sconti fino al 40%.. Sono dei veri tentatori. E meno male che non hanno negozi qua in Italia!

And after yesterday's post about fall florals, here we go with more florals! This one was my favourite dress this summer, I already show it off here, I really like it and I constatly reach it to pull it off. It's so flattering, I love its print, it goes with everything.. Sure, in Summer is really easy to pull off a dress, a pair of sandals and getting ready to go, but I am sure I will be wearing this cutesy also during Fall since it goes with anything, really, and it's going to look cute with some colored tights, boots and a cardigan. It was my self-present for my birthday this year, together with this other dress, and I have to say I really enjoyed both - and going to enjoy it for long time. They are made out of a nice jersey fabric which goes well for Fall too, a nice fit and flare shape which really is flattering, a cute ditsy floral print and spaghetti straps, no surprise this dress has sold out in no time - but I was able to make it mine! And I can't say enough good words for it. I was so satisfied with my first buy at Dorothy Perkins that now I am constantly exploring their site, day and night, and I want sort of everything! The only downside is that everything seems to be quite popular.. and sell out in no time. Las month I put my eyes on a couple of dresses (let's just say:  four or five dresses) and I was waiting until their fall promo discounts (they often have sales and promo codes - like in this very moment they have a 30% off). But maybe everyone had my same thought since when the promo started POOF! they disappeared, my size was sold out for 4 out of 5 dresses I had on my wishlist (they literally sold out while I was looking at it!). So while I wanted to buy at least a couple of dresses I ended up buying just one and not in the color I really wanted, sigh. Next time I'm going to be faster! i.e. they just launched a 40% off this weekend.. They are truly tempting me. Sigh!

Ancora un paio di outfit e poi se tutto va bene avrò esaurito le foto estive. Mi riprometto che non rimarrò mai più così indietro con i post. Qui era fine Agosto, nei primi giorni del rietro e Bologna era ancora vuota e vivibile e si girava benissimo. Le foto infatti le ha fatte il mio compagno, e una volta tanto che me le fa non mi posso lamentare - anche se fotografa più me che il vestito, e solo una foto a figura intera (con anche i piedi quasi tagliati, ma dico io!). Ma no, non mi posso proprio lamentare, che poi se legge mi dice che non me le fa più! :D

Another couple of outfits and then I am going to run out my summer pics. I promise I will never get so behind with posts ever again, it was a constant rush uploading those pics. Here we are back at the end of August, when the town was still empty of people and we had a long walk on the streets. The pics were infact taken by my fiancée, and for once he decided to shoot some pics to me I cannot complain - even tho he's taking pictures of me and not the dress, just one full pic and with the foot almost cut out, but nope, I won't complain - or he's going to tell me he will never take any other picture ever! :D
