ispiration: Breton shirt (again)

Cosa autoregalarsi per il compleanno quando si ha voglia d'Estate e di mare e invece sta per venire giù un temporalone (e previste piogge tutta settimana)? Ma un po' di righe marinarette per pensare all'Estate! :)
E di nuovo, colleziono troppe foto su Pinterest, e allora vi tocca un altro giro di marinére! Ma so che non vi dispiacerà.. Le righe sono un evergreen e vanno bene in qualsiasi momento e stagione, ma in estate sono davvero la perfezione, e amo alla follia il look marinaretto che donano!
Poi, speriamo di vederci presto per nuove cosette e un po' di stabilità blogghesca in più. Il trasloco è ormai concluso anche se rimane ancora un po' di roba da sistemare, e per vari motivi la prossima settimana mi aspetta qualche giornatina pesante e stancante (e afosa)... Ma presto tutto passerà.

Again... I have collected way too many pics and i need to share, I hope you don't mind for some more striped shirt inspiration! Stripes are right at any time and any season, but in Summer they do their best, I love love love their nautical look.
And then, I hope to be more on the blog in the near future, the moving has gone well and everything is good, even tho there are still thingsto settle up, and next week is going to be hard and tiresome (and muggy)... But everything is going to be fine.

Era da tanto che non andavo seriamente su Polyvore, e pensare che un tempo ci passavo le serate, a fare set mettendo dentro vestitini e orpelli, e come mi divertivo! In questi giorni però ho ripreso la "frequentazione" perché stavo completando un post che uscirà a breve si spera (su consigli su come vestirsi per la discussione di tesi, un post che è ormai in ballo da mesi, aargh, non scherzo) e mi servivano quei due-tre set che avevo iniziato a preparare tempo fa per illustrarlo. Quindi ho dato un'occhiata ai miei drafts (ovvero le bozze), e... 35+ pagine di set non finiti e mai pubblicati!
Troppi, troppi set rimasti lì in attesa di tocchi finali che non sono mai arrivati. E allora sapete che vi dico? Che mi son messa a pubblicarli lo stesso, così come sono, almeno quelli un po' più recenti e interessanti. Son partita da questi quattro preparati l'anno scorso quando cercavo dei pantaloni, per trovare gli abbinamenti giusti. Che ne dite? Non porto quasi mai pantaloni e jeans, però così abbinati mi piacciono, e poi l'anno scorso finalmente ne ho trovati alcuni che mi stanno bene (trovare pantaloni giusti è veramente difficile, se non quasi impossibile!) e quindi ho ricominciato a metterli, qualche volta. 
Anche se preferisco quelli larghi in fondo e i bootcut, non disdegno quelli stretti ma mi piacciono in un modo e uno soltanto: solo se infilati rigorosamente dentro agli stivali. Per il resto gli skinny non li sopporto (e i leggings non sono pantaloni).

It has been a long time no seen with Polyvore, but I got back making some new sets since I was preparing a long post which is due o next days and I needed to publish some set to illustrate it, so I went in my drafts.. and found 35+ pages of never finished and  sets! wow. Way too many never published sets, so I decided to start publishing as is, at least the latest and more interesting ones. I started with these I created last year while I was looking for some pants. I don't usually wear pants as I think it's quite hard to find the perfect pair! But last year I finally found some I like and so I started wearing it again, some times. I still prefer wide leg and bootcut, but I also like skinnies only if worn tucked in boots. I regret any other use of skinnies (and leggings are not pants).

Ieri ho recuperato le foto di questo vestitino (non erano scomparse, le aveva fatte il fratellone col cellulare - grazie fratello, era ora!), risalenti a fine Luglio, arrivate ora che qua è già improvvisamente Autunno. 
Ma quest'estate l'ho dedicata alle righe, volevo un vestitino a righe carino e sfruttabile e le righe erano ovunque, declinate in millemila modi diversi e alla fine le ho avute: ho trovato il vestitino semplice come lo cercavo ed era anche sotto i 10€ (così mi è anche rimasto qualcosina da spendere in altre cosucce! :D ). Incredibile ma è di h&m, non ci trovavo più niente da un pezzo, e in effetti oltre alle righe semplici non mi piaceva niente nemmeno stavolta.. h&m a mia opinione è da usare per il basic, in cui hanno cose davvero.. basic, ma del resto hanno robaccia improponibile - o forse sono io che sto invecchiando e rifiuto le robe più trendy? Mah, fattostà che questo abitino l'ho messo un sacco di volte ed è un passepartout, va bene con tutto e in tutte le occasioni, proprio il lavoro che mi aspetto facciano le righe! Basta cambiare scarpe e accessori, aggiungere un golfino o una giacca jeans, e un vestitino a righe funziona come una tela bianca, basic ma di carattere.

I finally got these pics on my hands yesterday (thanks brother, it was about time!), now that it feels already like Fall here :)
But this Summer I dedicated to stripes and I wanted a little nice simple striped dress I could pair with anything, and stripes were everywhere and for every taste and I got my dress by the end, simple and cheap (it was under 10€, so I was left with something to spend in some other things too, lol). It's from h&m which I find it to be really incredible, it has been long time since last time I found something I liked over there, and actually I didn't liked anything this time too apart for this dress. H&M in m opinon is quite good for basics, but not that much for the rest - or maybe it's just me getting older and not liking the trendy trends any more..
Well, I got some really good use out of this dress, wearing it a lot of times with different sandals and accessories, natural hair, hair in a bun, in a braid, with a hat... Even in summer thre's lot of different options for a single dress. And a striped dress actually works as a blank canvas where you can add anything you like.

Con queste belle giornate, ed essendo ormai nel cuore dell'Estate, mi viene da pensare ad una sola cosa: il mare. Peccato che nemmeno quest'anno lo vedrò... Però posso sempre consolarmi con lo stile marinaretto. :)
Amo follemente lo stile nautico, e anche in Inverno cerco di incorporare nel mio abbigliamento di tutti i giorni il blu e le righe e ho persino un bel cappottone navy con i bottoni d'ottone e tutto... Ma è d'Estate che lo stile marinaro esplode in un tripudio di righe in tutte le salse, di vele, barchette, ancore, timoni, stelline, cavallucci marini, granchietti...

With these sunny days, and being in the heart  of Summer, there's only one thing on my mind: the seaside. And yet I won't see the beach at anytime soon. But I still can soothe myself anch cheer up with nautical style.Who doesn't love nautical style?
I do infact love it to pieces, even in Winter I try to integrate nautical, navy and stripes in my everyday wear, I even own a navy peacoat with brass buttons and all the rest... But it's in Summer that nautical explodes in all its stripes, sailing prints, boats, anchors, seahorses, crabs, stars...

Giornata uggiosa, un po' di febbriciattola per le temperature ballerine, un weekend abbastanza pieno che mi ha lasciata stanchissima, niente voglia di scrivere ma un po' di voglia di ispirazione sì, ecco. E allora guardiamo alle signore del passato! :)

Gloomy weather outside, a little bit of fever which is consequence of the swinging temperatures of these days, a filled weekend which left me uber tired, no desire for writing but in need for some inspiration. So let's have a look at the ladies from the past! :)

Mariniére pour le Printemps

Incrociamo le dita, ma volendo questa è stata una delle utime volte delle calze perché in questi giorni (non ci posso credere!) sono definitivamente andate! Ho già iniziato con vestititi e sandali, questo weekend appena passato poi il clima è stato a dir poco perfetto, che voglia pativo di caldo sulla pelle. Ma pensa te cosa mi fa arrivare a dire questa primavera urenda, che mi ha fatto desiderare l'estate come poche volte nella vita (perché amo e preferisco il clima autunnale.. ma... questo è stato troppo anche per me!). Ma alla fine i 30°C sono arrivati - e godiamoci il clima perfetto di questi giorni perché ho l'impressione che il caldo asfissiante sia proprio dietro l'angolo, che dite, mmm..?!? Sento già lamentele?! Ah ah. No dai! :DDD
Chi vivrà vedrà, intanto siam pronte già da un po' con gli abitini e i sandali a portata di mano, ed è finalmente ora di indossarli. Io vi dico solo che avevo talmente tanta voglia di mettere i vestitini leggeri che ora che ci siamo mi sto cambiando due o tre volte al giorno, ihih. Perché fino all'altroieri mi sono arrangiata sempre con le stesse cose nell'attesa (ed ero proprio stufa marcia di portare la giacca). Difatti ho usato tantissimo questa maglietta in questo periodo, messa e lavata di continuo perché le maniche 3/4 erano l'unica cosa adatta, ma sentivo comunque voglia d'estate e le righe sono l'unica cosa che mi facesse sentire la primavera nonostante il clima folle..:)

With my fingers crossed, this is the last outfit with tights I post since I can't believe they're definitely gone! I already started wearing dresses and sandals, and this weekend it was actually a perfect climate, I really wanted to feel the sun on my skin (and I definitely am not a suntan lover! This dreadful spring made me desire summer like I never did before, since I love autumn weather.. but this was enough, even to me! But finally we got our 30°C climate - and we should really take advantage of it, since I fear the heat is right back the corner, don't you think? Am I already hearing complaints? :DDD
We'll see, in the mean time we were ready with our summer dresses and sandals, and now it's finally time to wear it. Let's just say I was soooo in awe to wear my summer dresses that now I am changing myself at least twice a day, eheh. Since I was bored wearing the same 3 things over and over, and overbored wearing jackets and coats! As a matter of fact I overworn this striped shirt because 3/4 sleeves was the one and only thing I could wear so I was constantly on a wash&wear cycle because a breton shirt made me feel like spring despite the weather.

The Return of the wide leg Jedi.. err.. jeans.

Oh giuoia e gaudio! La primavera è arrivata, ed è durata un paio di giorni! (e poi ha ricominciato a piovere - di nuovo).
Giorni in cui, nonostante i miei super spippoloni sulle calze, non sapevo davvero se metterle o meno... Con il tempo così variabile quindi, per una volta, ho preferito i jeans. Anche su suggerimento del fidanzato che alla mia domanda "calze o no?" ha risposto dicendo che andava bene anche qualcosa di semplice una volta tanto, e chiesto se non avessi ancora dei jeans a qualche parte... Eh sì che ce li ho. Scartati quelli skinny che trovo sempre brutti e che mi stiano proprio male (ogni volta che provo ad infilarli se ne tornano zitti zitti nell'armadio) ho ri-trovato i miei amati vecchi usatissimi jeans. Non sono esattamente a zampa, e nemmeno bootcut.. Come chiamare questo modello? Flared? Sono i jeans normali di qualche anno fa, prima che la foia skinny si impadronisse della normalità. Indossandoli mi sono sentita tornare agli anni universitari...

Oh gawdy! Spring is here, and it lasted for two entire days! (and then it started raining - again).
In which I didn't know what to wear, if putting on tights or not... So I choose jeans, for once. Also by my fiancee's suggestion who answered my question "tights or not?" with another question "you no longer have jeans in your closet?". Yep, I do have jeans. After trying on my skinnies which I really didn't feel like wearing (I hate how they look, they are so unflattering), I throw out my old, well used flared jeans which were the normal cut you'd find around till a few years back, before the skinny jean invasion. By wearing it I felt like getting back to uni years...

Stripes Are Everywhere.

Talking about stripes again, since I love stripes more than I can tell, as I do love polka dots, and as for polka dots I think they never go out of style since they are classic perfection. But from time to time it becomes an ultimate trend and it explodes and BLAM! Suddenly stripes are, like, everywhere. As for polka dots a couple of years back. I still appreciate it, as well as black & white and optical since it's a fashion return of 60s Op style. But then you see those in each and every window shop as dresses, shirts, pants, accessories, shoes.. and some of those things are actually incredibly ugly. The optical purpose is actually impressive as there's nothing with greater impact as black & white. But still, most of the times it hurts my eyes! It's way too much...

 Torno a parlare delle righe (ma non ho ancora finito :P ) perché io le righe le amo tantissimo, così come i pois, e come i pois penso che non passino mai di moda perché sono sempre perfetti e classici. Poi però la moda se ne impossessa, lo rende un "trend" da avere assolutamente ed ecco che esplodono ovunque! Come per i pois 2-3 anni fa, ecco quest'anno le righe dappertutto. Le apprezzo comunque, come apprezzo molto anche il bianco & nero e l'optical in quanto ritorno ciclico di una moda che arriva direttamente dagli anni 60. Ma poi le vedi in tutte le vetrine, declinate in mille modi (e alcuni abbastanza inguardabili), su mille capi e accessori, e tutte assieme.. lì per lì l'effetto optical ovviamente colpisce, non c'è nulla di più forte del bianco e nero, a mio parere.. ma arriva fin a dare un po' fastidio agli occhi! Esagerano, come in tutte le cose, sembra che senza l'esagerazione, di questi tempi, non si possa andare da nessuna parte.

Ok ok, stripes are the ultimate trend this season... May I just say I've been a huge stripes fan since forever? I even consider it as a must have basic! And actually stripes are an evergreeen. There might have been times you've seen stripes everywhere (see: the 60s) but they never went out of fashion, in a way or another. And may I say, I don't really like the big bold stripes everywhere trend, BUT as it happend with any huge trend you can find a lot out there, in many different shapes and there are great possibilities you will find the striped dress of your dreams just beneath all this abundance of stripes. Just as it happened with polka dots a couple of years back (they were everywhere, but then, I could find many cute polka dots any-things!).
That said, here's some inspiration pics for that ol' (or new?) breton shirt or marinière. Because striped shirts are never enough (I even bought a new one just yesterday...
I will tell you a secret: just trow in anything with your striped shirt and.. you're dressed up already and with no effort, making a statement too. I love striped shirts, for this and for a million other reasons.

Ok ok, a quanto pare le righe sono il trend di questa stagione... Ma posso dire che sono una fan accanita delle righe da sempre? Tanto da considerarle come un basic che non può mancare nell'armadio! E in effetti le righe sono un evergreen. Possono esserci dei periodi in cui se ne vedono di più (vedi: anni 60) e altri un po' meno, ma non credo che siano mai andate del tutto fuori moda. E se posso dirlo, non mi piace poi tanto il trend rigoni ovunque, con 'sti cosi quasi da carcerato che spuntano come funghi.... PERO' come per ogni grosso trend in cui si trovano tante cose dappertutto, in tante forme diverse, ci sono grandi possibilità che finalmente si possa anche trovare il perfetto vestitino a righe che si cerca da sempre (o che almeno io cerco da sempre! :D ) in mezzo a questa abbondanza di righe e rigoni. Proprio come è capitato con i pois un paio d'anni fa, che erano davvero ovunque esattamente nello stesso modo, ma ciò mi ha fatto trovare taaaaante cosine carine a pois!
Detto ciò, ecco qua un po' d'ispirazione per la classica vecchia (o nuova?) maglia bretone o marinière. Perché le maglie a righe non sono mai abbastanza (ne ho comprata un'altra proprio ieri..).
Il segreto è che in realtà basta abbinarla a.. qualunque cosa! e siamo già belle che vestite, senza sforzo e lasciando comunque un forte impatto. Viva le magliette a righe! che amo tanto per questo e per un milione di altri motivi. 
(Ma state pur certe che tornerò a parlarne presto..)

A Change of Seasons

And finally here we are, short sleeves and stripes season! Well I never actually left back any stripes, not even in winter, but as for a short sleeved striped shirt, it's the first of the season to me, after the striped dress which I got sick with - but it's not its fault, poor thing, and neither is mine as I was fully layered even with my black trench for going out! It's this I-don't-know-what's-going-on-and-how-to-dress season - but wasn't it March, the crazy month? Anyhow it's finally May and without any weather jokes (like, raining for a whole month) we are totally out from this super long awful winter. Just so you know, I really like winter, with its warm knits, coats, boots, I really really enjoy it and love it.. But as it was unusually long this year, I think we have had enough.

E finalmente ci siamo, righe e maniche corte! Beh no in effetti le righe non le abbandono mai neanche d'inverno, ma la maglietta a righe a maniche corte è la prima di stagione, dopo il vestitino a righe con cui mi sono ammalata - ma mica è colpa sua eh porello, e nemmeno mia che mi ero coperta bene, che per uscire portavo anche il trench! E' sto clima che nonsicapisceniente-nonsochecacchiomettere - ma una volta non era Marzo, ad essere pazzerello? Comunque oramai siamo in Maggio e se non ci fa brutti scherzi (tipo pioggia battente per un mese) dai dai che ne siamo fuori, da questo luungo orrido inverno. Oh, sia ben chiaro che l'inverno, con la lana calda, i cappotti, gli stivali, mi piace un sacco.. Però direi che quest'anno ne abbiamo avuto abbastanza, e che è durato troppo a lungo.

Righe, Ruggine e Amarcord

This nautical dress is twin with this other, same cut and similar colors.. But this one has more blue than the other... What can I say, I liked it so much that I couldn't decide, so I brought both at home with me (with a discount, of course), and I did it right, I can't count how many times I've been using both! I just throw it on and go, the outfit usually comes by its own. Even tho here's in a quite similar combo as the other time! °_°
It seems it's a combo I really enjoy and that I feel very comfortable in, still being far away from jeans+shirt - which is really unnatural to me by now and I really have to force myself wearing it. You just need to know that if you see me around in jeans, that means I was struggling with my closet and I really didn't feel like wearing a dress or a skirt on that day, and after pulling on everything I wear jeans. Luckily it's something that seldom happens, and my wardrobe now no longer stress me out since I have clothes and dresses I like very much, love deeply, and most are timeless style. I ban unused things! And actually I'd like to set me free and get apart from some pretty thing that rarely get used, or I never used at all! So I was thinking of making a "shop my closet", what do you think about it? I am just trying to figure out which is the best way for doing it.. I assure there are some cute garnments in there, that I never use since they are too big or too tight, or colors I don't wear, or things are no longer my style, unused gifts, etc.

Questo vestitino un po' alla marinara è il gemello di quest'altro, stesso modello e colori simili.. ma questo ha predominanza dei toni del blu invece che rosso mattone. Eh, che devo dire, li ho presi tutti e due l'anno scorso durante una promozione, e non riuscendo a decidere, li ho portati entrambi a casa con me.. E ho fatto bene, non conto le volte che li ho usati! Ne indosso uno e via, il resto vien da sè. Anche se qua il sè è identico o quasi all'altra volta! °_°
Si vede che è un'abbinamento che mi piace e con cui  mi sento comoda e a mio agio, pur essendo comunque lontano dai canoni jeans+maglietta - che invece non mi viene naturale per niente e debbo proprio sforzarmi.. Sappiate che se mi vedete in giro in jeanzz, vuol dire che ci ho messo tanto a decidere, e che quel giorno proprio ma proprio non mi andava un vestitino o una gonnellina, e dopo aver provato tutto metto i jeans. Per fortuna una cosa così succede di rado, e il mio armadio non mi stressa perché ora ho robine che mi piacciono a iosa, e quasi tutte senza tempo. Al bando le cose che non si mettono! E proprio per liberarmi di alcune cosette carucce ma che metto poco o niente, ho pensato di fare una vendita tipo uno "shop my closet", che ne dite? Sto cercando di capire qual'è il modo migliore di farlo.. Vi assicuro che son cose carine, ma che spesso non metto perché troppo grandi/piccole, o cose che non sono più nel mio stile, o regali inutilizzati, e così via...

Back to Black (and stripes)

A simple and effortless outfit in black, great for gloomy days (I tend to dress as the weather!). The skirt is a fav, quite simple, not too tight and it has pockets! The shirt is a thrift find, for just a couple of euros. I love stripes, and the sequins flower makes it really unique. There's just I couple of things I don't really like: the large sleeves (that I should sew to make it tight) and the neck, quite large expecially to me, as I always feel the cold on my neck! So I have to use a scarf with it for going out. Below in the post you will see a going-out version with scarf and jacket and I shifted the ballet flats for practical boots, which makes it even more casual.

Un outfit semplice, ed essendo tutto sul nero, messo assieme anche senza troppo sforzo, perfetto per i giorni grigi nella mezza stagione (perché tendo a vestirmi come il tempo!). La gonna è una delle mie preferite, semplicissima e non troppo stretta, ed ha le tasche! La maglietta a righe è una delle cose trovate nei soliti mucchi al mercato, per un paio d'euro.. Le righe mi piacciono tantissimo, se non si fosse capito :D e in più c'è questo decoro in paillettes che la rende speciale. Ha solo due difetti: le maniche troppo "a campana" (ma pensavo di stringerle un po') e lo scollo veramente largo, che per me che soffro il freddo sul collo non è proprio l'ideale.. Quindi per uscire metto sempre una sciarpetta. Più sotto potete vedere una seconda versione con sciarpa e giacca in (simil)pelle e ho anche messo gli stivali al posto delle ballerine, per rendere l'insieme ancora più casual, e un po' più caldo, essendo piuttosto freschino..

Erano secoli che non pubblicavo un nuovo set su Polyvore così, tanto per! Un tempo, prima del blog, ero sempre lì a divertirmi a fare dei set, e non solo per creare outfit.. Era più una questione artistica, grafica. Ora invece mi ritrovo con un sacco di set lasciati nelle bozze da uno-due anni, e nessuna voglia di terminarli. Questo vede la luce per caso o quasi, perchè ho una gonnellina così e mi son divertita a creare un po' di outfit differenti con cose che più o meno ho già - e altre che mi piacerebbe vedere apparire magicamente! Comunque tutte cosine che mi piacciono tantissimo. Qual'è la vostra preferita?

It was literally ages I didn't publish a new set on Polyvore just for fun! There was a time, before the blog, I was always around there creating new sets, and not just for outfits, it was something.. artistic, involving graphics. Now I find I have tons of sets in drafts left behind from one-two years, with no time to accomplish them. This one sees the light because I have a skirt just like this one and I had some fun creating some outfits to go with it with similar garments and accessories that are already part of my wardrobe, or with things I'd really love to magically see in my closet! In any case, those are all pretty things I really love. Which one is your favourite?

Back in September...

When tights were an option! This year I started wearing tights very late for my standard - am I less and less sensitive to cold? Mmmmm I don't think so, at least telling by the all bundled up outfits I come up with lately, now that it's really cold..
I am so behind in publishing outfits post that I think I am going to do it all together without further introduction, or I'd never publish it at all - like I did last fall/winter season! Yep you heard right.. I took tons of outfits pics I never got to publish - bad, bad blogger I am! But from now on I promise I am going to publish them all, aye! :D

Quando le calze erano un optional! Quest'anno ho iniziato a indossarle molto tardi per i miei standard - sono forse sempre meno freddolosa? Mmmm no, a giudicare da come mi copro adesso che è freddo non direi proprio..
Tra feste, impegni e meno impegni (e molta pigrizia), sono rimasta talmente indietro nel pubblicare post con outfits che credo lo farò tutto assieme ora e nei prossimi giorni, senza ulteriori ripensamenti, o rischio di far la fine dello scorso inverno, quando non ne ho pubblicato nemmeno uno! Vuoi la pigrizia, vuoi la mancanza di energia che pervade per tutto l'Inverno... Alla fine è passata tutta la stagione e le foto sono rimaste nel cassetto. Che pessima, cattivissima blogger! Ma ora mi metto d'impegno e le pubblico tutte, tiè! :D

Wazzup lately + Almost Spring outdoors

La mia testa ultimamente scoppia! Ho un sacco di idee e vorrei parlare di mille cose, scrivere di più sul blog, caricare mille e mille foto... Ma non ho tempo per niente di tutto ciò! Però è principalmente per una giusta causa: abbiamo da poco trovato un appartamento più grande del bilocale in cui viviamo ora e a breve ci sarà il trasloco, perciò siamo proprio nel mezzo della progettazione, scelta dei mobili, visite ai mobilifici, all'usato (ho fatto un sacco di foto lì, spero di riuscire a condividerle al più presto!) e postacci pieni di gente e di confusione come l'Ikea. Insomma, siamo sempre lì con la testa, continuamente a pensare alla casa nuova!

E poi, purtroppo, ci sono anche delle cattive notizie: il grave terremoto in Emilia, che fortunatamente non ha fatto danni a Bologna nè nel mio palazzo, ma siamo lo stesso spaventati e stanchi. Le scosse più grandi sono davvero terribili e spaventose, ma le scosse più piccole, cosiddette "di assestamento", sono davvero stressanti, e la sensazione di vertigine e capogiro è sempre lì. Purtroppo pare che questa condizione durerà a lungo. Speriamo che non ci siamo ulteriori grandi scosse.

My mind is fullfilled with lots of things lately. I had tons of ideas, things I wanted to talk about, writing more blog posts, uploading tons of pics... And I have no time at all for any of those things. But it's mainly for a good cause: we just found a new apartment, bigger than the two-rooms we live now, and we're moving there soon, so it's all about making projects and choosing furniture, visiting furniture shops, second hand (I made lots of pics there, I hope I can share it asap!) and those pesky, noisy places like Ikea and constantly thinking about the new place!

And then, sadly, there is also some bad news: there was a major earthquake session in Emilia, which is the region where I live. No damages at my palace and in Bologna, but still we are a bit scared and tired. Big quakes are awful, totally scary, but there are continuous minor earthquakes too, which are really stressful, and dizziness is always there. Sadly, it seems that this state is going to last for quite a long time. I hope there won't be major quakes again.

Ad ogni modo, mentre ero in Umbria la settimana scorsa, nel mio paesino in Valserra, mi sono ricordata di aver fatto delle foto l'ultima volta che sono stata lì. Esattamente come usavamo fare quando ero ragazzina, per Pasquetta io e mia mamma siamo andate a visitare una piccolissima chiesetta in cima a una collina in mezzo ai boschi vicini alla mia valle, che è un posto tradizionale per la gita di Pasquetta. Non abbiamo fatto il picnic, ma è stata una bella giornata, col sole che splendeva e i boccioli (quasi) in fiore. Indossavo un semplice outfit fatto di jeans + maglia a righe, ma sicuramente molto comodo per una gita fuori porta. Eh già, ho proprio indossato dei jeans! A testimonianza del fatto che ogni tanto li metto. :)

Anyway, I was at my hometown in Umbria for a few days during the past week, which reminded me that last time I was there I made some pics I didn't shared yet.
As we did when I was a little girl, the day after Easter I went with my mom to a tiny church on the top of an hill in the middle of the woods nearby my valley which is a traditional location for Easter picnics. We didn't do picnic, but it was a great day, the sun was shining and the flowers (almost) blooming. I was wearing a nice, plain, basic outfit in jeans + striped shirt, but pretty much comfortable for a trip to the great outdoors. Yep, I was wearing jeans! This is an evidence that I actually wear it, now and then. :)

Although these pics were shoot in a lovely spring day in April, it looks like Fall! But the green foliage here and there and the tiny little shy flower in last pic confirm that we are in Spring.

Anche se queste foto sono state scattate in una bella giornata primaverile di Aprile, sembrava quasi Autunno! Ma le foglie verdi qua e là e il timido fiorellino un po' sciupato dell'ultima foto testimoniano che siamo in Primavera.
