Jingle Cats, Jingle Cats...

Ancora qualche sprazzo festivo, ancora qualche pacchetto da scartare e ancora qualche mangiata, e poi... pronti a far colazioni a base di panettone e pandoro da qui a Pasqua? :D
Insomma ci siamo, anche quest'anno è andata ed è arrivata l'Epifania che-tutte-le-feste-si-porta-via.... 
Ma come sono andate queste feste?
Qui è stato un po' un anno di prime volte... Ho fatto l'albero, messo le decorazioni fuori, e ho persino fatto  i biscotti allo zenzero e cannella! E poi non è Natale senza chili di Panpepato, senza mangiar pesce alla vigilia, mangiar brodo per Natale, fare pranzi e cene con parenti, pranzi e cene con amici, e regali da impacchettare, regali da scartare, e un sacco di relax sul divano con bei film e serie tv... E tanto tempo con i gatti!
Ma poi secondo voi i mici amano il Natale o no? ;)
E mentre aspettiamo la Befana che vien di notte (e con le scarpe tutte rotte), vi lascio con queste immagini di gatti festivi e vi auguro un Felice Anno!

Still some extra festive time, a few presents to unwrap, a little more eating and then... also these holidays are gone!
Here it actually was a year of first-times: making the Xmas tree and placing outdoor decorations, and I even made gingerbread cookies! And then it's not Xmas without Panpepato, without eating fish at Xmas eve, eating chicken soup at Xmas day, without having lunches and dinners with family and friends, and wrapping-unwrapping presents, and a lot of relaxing time on the couch watching movies and tv serials... And spending a lot of time with cats!
But hen do cats actually love Xmas or not? ;)

Oh Xmas Tree Cats

Beh quest'anno mi son data all'albero di Natale e alle decorazioni - eh sì, ho comprato e fatto l'albero per la primissima volta nella mia vita da quando non sono più bambina! Sento lo spirito natalizio? Non tanto... Ma questo è stato un anno davvero particolare, diverso per tante cose, e non potrei che concludere l'anno in maniera diversa dal solito... e in più finalmente qui c'è fisicamente lo spazio per farlo e poi mi preparo ai natali futuri... Mentre i gatti mi distruggono l'albero! :D
Ma noooo, devo dire che sia la Mimì che la micia Bella e persino l'ultimissimo arrivato Bartolomiao (che è davvero giovane e pazzerello)  non sembrano affatto interessati, e l'albero è ancora incredibilmente tutto intero dopo una settimana! Ma shhhh.. non diciamolo troppo forte..... Perché questi gatti qua sotto sembrano aver capito tutto di come si gioca con un albero di Natale!

Well, this year I am enjoying the Xmas decoration and I even bought and decorated my own Xmas tree! Do I start feeling the Xmas spirit? Nope... But this has been a strange year, different in so many ways, and I think it's due to end it in a totally different way from the usual. And after all here we finally have some actual space to build up our tree, and then I prepare myself for the xmas future... While the cats destroy my tree! :D
lol, I have to say that my cats Mimì and Bella and even the new entry Bartolomeow (who is so young and playful)  do not take care of it and the tree is still there after a week! But shhhhh.. dI won't talk too loud...Since these cats below actually seem to understand very well how to play with a Xmas tree!

Già pronte? No, vero? Nemmeno io... Allora ecco qualche immagine per prepararci alle feste di stasera! Ed eccolo, il tanto atteso (o temuto, o odiato, o ignorato - dipende dalle circostanze) giorno di Natale è arrivato anche quest'anno. Più passano gli anni e più sento forte di appartenere alla categoria Scrooge e ritengo bazzecole le tante, troppe cose che circondano il Natale - oh se Dickens potesse vedere quello odierno, di quanto sia sempre più una festa commerciale, il "Bah! Humbug!" di Scrooge sarebbe ancor più deciso e forte! O forse il finale sarebbe completamente stravolto. Comunque...

 And so here we go, the awaited and longed for (or dreaded, or despised, or neglected - depending on circumstances) Xmas day has come this year as well. As time goes by I feel more and more as a Scrooge and I believe as humbug all those xmas-y things - oh if Dickens could see what Xmas has become in these days, how much of a commercial festivity it is now, Scrooge's "Bah! Humbug!" would be even more loud and sound! Or maybe the end of the novel would be just so much different. Oh well...

Auguri (e tag natalizio)

E non posso evitare il post prettamente natalizio. Ci ho provato ma non si può, bisogna che vi auguri buone feste :P
Lo faccio ora con un piccolo tag, ma lo farò anche il giorno dovuto (non faccio mai auguri di Natale prima che sia effettivamente Natale.. difficile sentire quella frase pronunciata da me, ma in questo caso farò un'eccezione!)
Mi raccomando, Natale con i tuoi, mangiate bene, ripostate, rilassatevi, chiacchiarate, divertitevi se potete e poi tornate tutte belle cariche (io ci spero, perché tra influenza e periodo pre-natalizio che è un momento dell'anno che odio abbastanza poprio mi sento con le pile scariche).
E ora il tag! Barbara Bordeaux di So Barbylicious mi ha assegnato un premio e un tag che più natalizio non si può.

Sarò sincera, come avrete capito in questo periodo dell'anno sono un po' una Scrooge.. e il Natale e tutto il suo viavai non fanno più parte di me da molto tempo, non addobbo, ho solo un alberello piccino picciò e mi basta abbondantemente, mi piacciono le luci per strada ma trovo che siano troppe, sovrabbondanti e si potrebbe fare tranquillamente a meno, odio decisamente la folla che c'è in giro e la corsa al regalo e io praticamente non ne faccio. Del Natale apprezzo veramente solo il fatto che si sta in famiglia a fare gran mangiatone e chiacchiere. :P
Però questo è un tag simpatico, e anche un po' in tema con Canto di Natale di Dickens, così proviamo a rispondere! :)

Meow-rry Xmas!

Anche se mi sento tanto come Scrooge in questo periodo dell'anno, vorrei lo stesso augurarvi buone feste.
(avete rischiato seriamente che pubblicassi le mie lamentele sulle feste, ma non lo farò, solo perché è natale e cercherò di prendere quanto c'è di buono).
Quindi... Buon Natale! Meno regali e più gatti per tutti!! =^.^=

La Collezione delle Feste Promod

Qualche sera fa sono stata invitata nel negozio Promod di Bologna per la Shopping Night con presentazione della Collezione Uomo (di cui ho già parlato in questo post) e della Collezione delle Feste, fatta di tanti begli abiti e accessori sbrilluccicosi. Devo dire la verità, entrando in negozio sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita e sorpresa dalla bellezza degli abiti e accessori, e decisamente non sono una che va matta per i luccichii! Ma questa collezione ha tutto ciò che può piacermi: dettagli semplici ma raffinatissimi, abiti e accessori ispirati al vintage, paillettes e lustrini mai esagerati ma sempre dosati in maniera chic, vestitini eleganti ma anche riutilizzabili in altre occasioni. In seguito pubblicherò anche le foto della divertentissima serata shopping night, per ora voglio parlare di questa bella Collezione delle Feste!

A few days back I was invited in Promod shop in my town for the introduction of the Male Collection, novelty of the season (I was talking about it in this post), and the presentation of their Party Collection. It was a pleasant surprise to find so many beautiful things in the shop, and I am not one that loves sparkling and blinking things! But those are well measured, sequins are never too much, the dresses and jewelry are quite simple yet chic, in that vintage inspired and french way may I say. I am going to put up the pics of the lovely shopping night asap as well, but as for now I am going to talk about this beautiful party collection!

How To Destroy a Xmas Tree

A tree! Indoors! With sparkling decorations! And twinkling lights! Moss smelling like a forest! Nativity scene with small figurines to hunt! And boxes! Tons of boxes! All wrapped in colored papers! And ribbons! Bows! And ornaments all around in the house! Wow!!! Thank you my human friend for this things-I-can-destroy galore, I am very grateful! And now I beg you pardon, but I am off to tear apart something... =^.^=
Alas, if your cat is a pest and you don't want him/her to destroy your tree, do not put up Xmas decorations.. It's useless to get mad at them, too, because it's entirely the human's fault - who knows for sure that the cat is going to smash, kill, exterminate everything! :D
Or, you can always put your tree where the cat could not reach it - well wishes and congrats IF you can really find a place that the cat is not getting to by jumping and following unlikely paths! :D

Un albero! Dentro casa! Con palline scintillanti! E luci intermittenti! Una distesa di muschio morbido che profuma di bosco! Statuine del presepe da predare! E scatole! Quante scatole! Tutte incartate e colorate! E nastrini! Fiocchi! Decorazioni pendenti in giro per casa! Wow!!! Grazie amico umano per tutta questa abbondanza di cose-da-distruggere che mi dai di tua volontà! Te ne sono molto grato! E ora scusami ma devo proprio farmi le unghie sul tronco, salire sull'albero, giocare con le palline, farle cadere tutte e poi scendere, dormire nella capanna, smangiucchiare le statuine e devastare quei tuoi pacchi colorati... =^.^=
Ergo, è meglio non fare niente, se non si vuol dare loro modo di distruggere tutto... ed è inutile arrabbiarsi con loro, perché è solo colpa dell'umano che sa a cosa va incontro! :D
Oppure si può sempre fare l'albero e metterlo dove il micio non può arrivare - auguri, e complimenti SE davvero riuscite a trovare un posto che lui non riesce a raggiungere con balzi e percorsi improbabili! :D
