In the Country - Denim dress, tennis shoes

Cucù! Eccomi qua, dopo una lunga assenza/presenza col contagocce dovuta a, in successione: mega-trasloco da Bologna alla campagna umbra, 2 operazioni all'anca della mamma in tempi ristretti (una gamba in aprile l'altra in giugno), e soprattutto, ora che le acque si sono calmate e le cose sono quasi sistemate, una linea adsl farlocca che salta continuamente - e non permette di stare online! Ecco spiegata la mia assenza o presenza a spizzichi e bocconi e la difficoltà nel completare un post (caricare foto con connessioni lente è praticamente impossibile.. anche per questo semplice post ho fatto una fatica bestia).
Vi assicuro che però durante questo periodo ho nel frattempo continuato a vestirmi tutti i giorni lo stesso, eheh, con vestitini, gonne, magliette camicette e.. jeans! Eh già, per i giorni del faticoso trasloco e il su-giù Bologna/Umbria ho tirato fuori dei vecchi jeans straight che ho messo in continuazione assieme alle nuove scarpette da tennis rosse - le ho prese da poco e le sto consumando a furia di indossarle, tanto sono comode - e tanto il brutto tempo atmosferico che c'è stato di recente non ha aiutato, pochi sandaletti, poche zeppette, niente ballerine, tante scapette chiuse come queste o le vecchie care Superga. Cosa vogliam farci? Speriamo che l'estate sia finalmente arrivata e che stavolta voglia farci compagnia per un po'... (no, eh?)

Ahoy! Here I am after long time, and this absence was due to: moving from the town of Bologna to the country in Umbria, 2 surgeries that my mom had at the hips in a short term of time (the first in april and the second in june), and last but not least, a super sloooooooow adsl connection that took me away from the internet! And so that's it, I was never online or I was here at starts and stops, never able to complete a post... I assure you that in the mean time I dressed up every day, lol, with dresses, skirts, tops, blouses and... jeans! Yeah, for the moving I digged out of the boxes an old pair of straight leg jeans I worn together with this new pair of red tennis shoes I am ruining on overwearing! They are so comfy and just right in this silly bad weather days we just had, a few days for sandals, wedges, no ballet flats at all and lots of tennis shoes. Well, I hope the time has come and Summer has finally arrived and it's now here to stay!

Colenimo - Spring/Summer 14

E dopo la collezione PE 2013 che ho postato ad inizio primavera, ecco anche la collezione Colenimo della stagione corrente. Deliziosa e anch'essa ispirata al vintage anni 20 e 30, ne adoro soprattutto la reinterpretazione del vintage che si accosta a capi più moderni pur rimanendo fedele ai richiami del passato, e il tutto è davvero stiloso e facile da indossare. Questo brand mi piace sempre più!

After the SS13 collection I posted early this spring, here we go with the current Colenimo SS14 collection. Adorable and vintage inspired as the other one, it recalls 20s and 30s lines and cuts, and I really love the fact it's a vintage inspired and modern mix, it makes it so cool and still totally wearable in these days. This brand is growing and growing to my heart!

Simply trousers

Ebbene sì, il tempo incerto di questa primavera, nonché la necessità di vestirmi alla veloce evitando i soliti vestiti e gonne, mi hanno fatto optare per i pantaloni! Abbinamento davvero inusuale per me, o perlomeno mi ero talmente disabituata ai pantaloni che.. una tantum cambiare fa bene, li ho trovati pratici e comodi (ma è questo modello ad essere molto comodo, e nonostante il fatto che siano scampanati). Devo dire che questa primavera ho mantenuto il proposito di indossare i pantaloni più spesso, e ho messo diverse volte persino i jeans! Ho trovato e infine preso dei bellissimi jeans bootcut, cadono perfetti, sono comodi e li adoro, ne parlerò e ve li mostrerò prossimamente... se riesco a fare due foto (ecco, trovare tempo e voglia di fare foto è diventato un bel problema ultimamente.. anche qui, autoscatti rubati in un parchetto mentre non c'era nessuno -difatti mi sentivo un po' idiota.. e vabbè). 

Yep, this spring's uncertain weather and the urge of getting dressed in an heartbeat but without using skirts and dresses drove me to trousers! Which is totally unusual to me, or at least I lose the habit of wearing pants but changing now and hen is good, and I was totally comfy all day long (this model is quite comfy despite the flare!). I have to say this spring I mantained my promise of wearing pants a little more, I even used jeans quite often! I finally found the perfect bootcut jeans, they are so flattering, comfortable and I am in awe, I am going to talk about it in another post (if I can come up with some pics.. time for shooting has become a problem lately.. even here, self-timer pics stolen in a park while there was nobody around -infact I was feeling like an idiot, oh well).

Colenimo - Spring-Summer 13

Anche se si tratta di una collezione Primavera/Estate 2013, nessuno vieta di parlare e prendere ispirazione dalle collezioni passate! E poi perché mai noi fanciulle vintage dovremmo guardare in avanti? Rivolgiamo indietro lo sguardo, anche solo di un anno, e recuperiamo le belle collezioni, soprattutto se si tratta di una collezione come questa di Colenimo, semplice e delicata, ispirata al vintage anni 20 e 30, insomma, deliziosa. E ci piace un sacco! E visto che l'anno scorso non ero riuscita a parlarne, la recupero questa primavera. Perché il vintage è senza tempo!

Even though this is a SS13 collection, it's surely not forbidden to talk about collections from the past! And after all why intage gals like us should look forward? We like to look backwards, even if just one year back, and so let's recover these beautiful collections from the past, especially when it's all about vintage as this Colenimo collection is: delicate and simple, ispired by the 20s and 30s decades, quite lovely, that's it. And we adore it! And since last year I had no time to talk about it, I am going to do it this spring, as it is due. Since vintage is timeless!

Green Ivy

Verde, verde, verde.. quanto mi piacciono i vestitini verdi! Così l'anno scorso quando ho visto questo scamiciato all'Ovs non ho resistito, doveva entrare a far parte del mio guardaroba anche se non era in programma (segno sempre ciò di cui ho bisogno, anche mentalmente, e in genere mi attengo al piano..), ma data la sua versatilità ha preso possesso in un attimo dell'armadio, e l'ho utilizzato davvero in quantità. Questa volta ho trovato l'abbinamento perfetto con la blusa dal collo peter pan, che è invece un acquisto coi saldi di quest'anno. Basic, eppure con quel tocco in più dovuto al colletto in (finto) cuoio.. era quello che ci voleva per svecchiare alcuni pezzi dell'armadio - come alcune gonne troppo vintage (ma esiste il troppo vintage? :P ) e creare abbinamenti come questo con lo scamiciato e con delle gonne che mi ero stancata di mettere solo con i lupetti.. Quindi un altro acquisto azzeccato. Ormai vado solo a colpo sicuro! Eh sì, perché l'armadio già esplode e non ho proprio bisogno di cose che metterò a malapena - però ogni tanto ci sta anche lo sfizietto, no? Soprattutto quando si dimostra utile! :P

Green green green.. I really love green dresses! So when I found this one last year at Ovs I could not resist and I had to get it into my closet even if it was not programmed (I often take a mental note of what I really need, and I usually follow the plan..), but since its versatility it was a great buy anyway, since a little pinafore is perfect in many different ways. At this time I found the perfect match with this peter pan collar blouse, which I bought on this winter’s sales. Basic but still quirky enough due to the (faux) leather peter pan collar, which drives it from drab to fab. it's great if paired with some vintage skirts, and I have to say it was exactly the piece I needed to mix and match. Another great buy! Hooray to great buys. It's quite important since my wardrobe is already exploding and I actually don't need things I am never going to use. So a great basic with a plus? Score!

inspiration: Trench Coat

Sole, pioggia e vento.. o tutti e tre assieme! Non c'è più la mezza stagione o è proprio questa la mezza stagione? E quindi cosa mettere in Primavera? Il trench!
D'Aprile non ti scoprire, di Maggio non ti fidare, a Giugno fai quel che ti pare, dice l'adagio che mia nonna ripeteva tutti gli anni... e aveva proprio ragione. Se è vero che possiamo mettere via i maglioni e i cappotti più pesanti, è sempre meglio ripararsi dalle intemperie (pioggia e vento improvvisi) e, come tutti consigliano, vestirsi a strati in modo che si possa togliere e mettere all'occorrenza per evitare le escursioni termiche -  e i raffreddori, sempre in agguato (che non si è mai abbastanza coperti, complice, appunto, quel sole ingannevole di Aprile).
Il trench è davvero perfetto in questo periodo dell'anno, soprattutto nella sua colorazione neutra: ci si può anche vestire tutte di nero, ma appena si indossa un bel trench magari abbinato a una sciarpina a fiori o colorata, ecco immediatamente richiamati i colori primaverili in un bell'outfit che non richiede sforzo alcuno. Ed è comodo: abbastanza leggero per il sole primaverile, semplice da togliere e tenere su un braccio se il caldo si fa più forte, ma anche abbastanza pesante da riparare da pioggia e vento (nel secondo caso sempre meglio indossare anche un cardigan o maglione di cotone).
 Il classico trench beige chiama linee pulite ed essenziali, sta benissimo con le righe, col vestitino nero o blu, ma anche con i jeans, con le ballerine, persino con gli stivali da pioggia... ed è un capospalla meno complicato di quel che sembra. Certo, molto meno casual di un giubbetto jeans o della giacca in pelle, ma certamente aggiunge quel je ne sais quoi, quel certo non so che anche al più semplice degli outfit, e se ben dosato, il tocco francese e bon ton è assicurato, ma con l'ombrello e la pioggia ci ricorda anche quello stile un po' inglese che ci piace tanto (mai dimenticare l'ombrello, eh, fate le brave).

It's that time of the year... the time we dig our closets to reach for something good in the rain, lightwear in sunny days but still warm enough when it's windy... so say hail to the trench!
Truth is we can actually say goodbye to knits and warm coats, but there's still need for something that can help us in these mid season times, when it'0s so easy to get a cold.
A trench coat is actually the perfect thing to wear at this time of the year: lightwear in the sun, but still covering us nicely during rainy and windy days (in this second case, it's always better to have a cardigan or a light sweater underneath). And you can even dress in total black, but a nice neutral trench, expecially when paired with a floral print scarf, will drive you to springy outfit with no effort at all.
The classic trench coat calls for nice and polished style, goes really well with stripes, florals, with a little black (or navy) dress, but also with jeans, with ballet flats, and even with rain boots. It's something that adds that little je ne sais quoi touch, that extra something to the simplest outfit, and if well used the french and bon ton touch is granted, but also the english style we love, expecially if paired with an umbrella at rainy days (don't forget the umbrella, lol).

W i jeans normali - Bootcut jeans

Parliamo di jeans bootcut e flare, o detto in parole povere, dal taglio dritto e a zampa! Insomma, i nostri cari vecchi jeans scampanati...
Per tutte quelle che sono affezionate a questo taglio (che diciamo la verità, sta anche molto bene addosso) e sono stanche di vedere jeans stretti sempre più stretti e ancora più stretti (anche qui diciamo la verità, lo skinny non dona a nessuna!).
Jeans skinny vs jeans bootcut. Chi vincerà? Io già lo so. Perché non ho mai smesso di amare i bootcut/zampa. Perché prima o poi gli skinny passeranno di moda di nuovo, come tutto passa di moda prima o poi, perché si sa, la moda guarda di continuo avanti (e indietro..) e quando tra qualche anno le skinny-dipendenti riguarderanno le foto si accorgeranno di quanto fossero brutti addosso questi jeans, e si diranno: oh mon dieu, ma che razza di jeans portavo in quella foto? :P
Perché, ragazze, è proprio raro che gli skinny stiano davvero bene. Nel migliore dei casi stringendo sotto fanno l'effetto "a imbuto", ed è come se mancasse qualcosa per dare equilibrio...

Let's talk about bootcut jeans, these old and dearest flared jeans!
To everyone of us still loving this cut (which is really flattering too), those who are sick of seeing skinnier stretchier jeans year after year (not a flattering cut at all).
Skinny jeans vs bootcut jeans. Which one is going to win the challenge? I already know, cause in my mind I never ceased loving the bootcut/flared jeans. Cause the skinny are going to be out of fashion again, now or then, since fashion is constantly moving forward (and backward), and when the skinny-addicted are going to look at their pictures from these years they'll be shocked to see how ugly and unflattering these jeans were. Yep, nice and truly flattering skinny jeans are actually rare (or impossible). At their best their skinny cut at the ankles creates that ugly "funnel" effect, like if they're missing something over it (=some boots).

Vestitini con le maniche lunghe

 Gli abiti a maniche lunghe sono molto comodi nel guardaroba di mezza stagione, e a dir poco essenziali in quello prettamente invernale. Dopo anni e anni di collezioni invernali e autunnali/primaverili fatte solo di vestiti in chiffon senza maniche e troppo leggeri per essere portati quando è davvero freddo, finalmente sembra che anche nei negozi si siano accorti di questa esigenza, perché, in questa ricerca, ne ho trovati tanti e un po' dappertutto. Da quelli in jersey ai vestiti in lana veri e propri, fino a quelli più eleganti in chiffon (però con le maniche!), ce n'è per tutti i gusti. E siamo nella stagione giusta (molti appartengono alle nuove collezioni! evviva!), perché le maniche lunghe si portano praticamente per gran parte dell'anno!

Log sleeved dresses are really useful at mid-season, and a staple in the winter wardrobe. After seeing years and years of winter and mid-season collections made of too light chiffon dresses, sleeveless and too lightwear when it's actually really cold outside, it looks like the shops listened to our groaning about long sleeves, since there are quite a lot out there - at least I was able to find many & everywhere. From jersey to knitted to chic chiffon (but with long sleeves!), there actually is a long sleeved dress for everyone. And we are in the right season, since long sleeves are good almost year round.

2013 outfits recap

In questi primi giorni dell'anno post di riassuntini spuntano qua e là come funghi in quasi tutti i blog che seguo, e allora perché no? Prima di ricominciare a postare regolarmente, in effetti, un riassuntino ci sta bene. Anche se le foto non sono state sempre eccelse (ma non è che miri a diventare modella dell'anno nè alla perfezione delle riviste patinate, voglio solo condividere come-mi-sono-vestita-oggi), ora che ne ho diverse non posso farvi mancare il mio riassuntino 2013.. (potete effettivamente trovare già una pagina riassuntiva nella pagina Lookbook, che cerco di tenere sempre aggiornata con ogni nuovo outfit).
Anche se sono in effetti ormai un paio d'anni che ho aperto questo blogherello, è dall'inizio del 2013 che mi sono messa d'impegno a postare seriamente e fare più spesso foto di come-son-vestita. Devo dire che, nel suo piccolo, quest'anno il blog è cresciuto molto, sia nei contatti che nelle visualizzazioni (anche di utenti casuali che finiscono qui sopra cercando qualcosa su google! un giorno vi farò un post con le parole chiave più cercate, con alcune c'è da ridere!). 
Spero che continui a crescere anche quest'anno, e non vedo l'ora di condividere nuove cose con voi :)
Ecco quindi il riassunto degli outfit 2013 (divisi all'incirca per stagioni). Guardiamo assieme e poi tiriamo le somme!

Even tho the pics are not always that good (but I don't aim to modeling perfection nor to professional photography on magazines, I just want to share how-I-dressed-up-today..) now that I collected some of them I cannot miss a recap.

Even tho it has already been a couple of years since I opened this blog, it's from the very beginning of 2013 that I seriously started writing and sharing things here, especially taking pics of outfits and so on. I have to say that during this past year the blog has grown up quite a lot, especially on contacts, even those casual ones. I hope it will raise and grow this year as well, I can't wait to share new things with you. :)

Visto che fra poco partono i saldi, il mese di Luglio sarà in parte dedicato ai (buoni) consigli per gli acquisti! Inauguro con le fantasie floreali, ma sono in arrivo anche altri post a tema. Lo so che le cose carine piacciono a tutte e con i saldi ancor di più... spero di non fare troppo il diavoletto tentatore, ma di consigliare il bello e il giusto, e soprattutto cose con prezzi decenti che ci si può permettere. Attenzione anche ai codici sconto che si trovano in giro su siti specializzati e attraverso le newsletter degli stessi shop online! ;)
La Primavera ha lasciato un po' a desiderare quest'anno, ma in compenso è stato tutto un fiorire di fantasie floreali. Quanti, quanti abitini floreali deliziosi si trovano in giro! Mi vien voglia di riempire l'armadio di vestiti a fiorellini (beh, almeno uno son riuscita a prenderlo.. e coi saldi chissà!)

Since it's sales time, I open July with some shopping advice! I am starting with floral prints, but there's more to come. I know we all love pretty things & sales... I hope I can give some advice with nice and useful things, expecially at low prices we can afford. Be careful with discount codes you can find around as well on specialized sites and newsletters! ;)
Spring has never sprung this year, but we were left with lots of florals around to redeem the dreadful weather. SO, so many lovely floral dresses around! I am tempted on fullfilling my closet with florals (but I was able to buy at least one at tis time.. and with sales, who knows!)

Betina Lou - Printemps-Été 2013

I really like the simple and nautical inspired Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Betina Lou.
Nothing better than this to think about Summer, and the perfect weather of these days. Still missing the sea though... And I don't think I am going to see it neither this year, but we can still dream about these lovely clothes! Classic wearable style still being really pretty and effortless chic. Blue and neutrals with whites and red accents. I love it!

Mi piace molto la collezione Primavera/Estate 2013 di Betina Lou, semplice e di ispirazione marinara.
Niente di meglio per proiettarci nel cuore dell'Estate che è finalmente arrivata, solstizio già avvenuto e temperature (al momento) perfette. Ci manca solo il mare... Che non credo vedrò neanche quest'anno, ma pazienza, per il momento accontentiamoci di fantasticare un po' con questi bei vestitini! Stile classico, semplice e portabilissimo pur essendo tutto molto, molto carino e curato. Toni del blu e colori neutri con un po' di bianco e accenti di rosso. Adoro!

Ed ecco le prime foto con un po' di sole! Incredibile cosa faccia all'umore il cambio di stagione tanto agognato, lo so che il caldo mi (ci) stancherà prestissimo, però intanto sto godendo di tutta questa luce!
E cosa fa una trentacinquenne fresca fresca col primo caldo? Ma si veste da gggiovane con tre g, è ovvio, no? Però posso giustificarmi dicendo che non l'ho fatto apposta... Che dovevo esser comoda per il viaggio in treno perciò leggings (mai le gambe nude su quei sedili..), che mi occorreva qualcosa sopra al vestitino perché fuori era caldissimo ma in treno, si sa, quell'aria condizionata cerca di imitare temperature da Polo Nord, e questa camicetta jeans era pronta sopra al mucchio, Ma quasi quasi, vi dirò, in treno d'estate ci vorrebbe anche una copertina da tirar fuori all'occorrenza. Parlo degli Intercity, quei pochi rimasti, perché sui regionali al contrario si crepa dal caldo, sulle frecce non saprei, mentre Italo non ho ancora avuto il piacere.

So finally here we go with the sun! It's incredible how great can one feel with just some sun over the head, I know I'll be sick of the heat very soon, but for now I'm eager to get all the light I can pick!
And what does a freshly thirthyfive gal do when the sun is finally here? She goes for a youthful look! I can only justify myself by telling I didn't do it on purpose... As I had to stay comfy for traveling by train so I choose leggings, that I needed a layer over the dress since there was hot weather outside but frosty chill inside the train (welcome to Italy), and this denim shirt was above my pile of clothes.

Mariniére pour le Printemps

Incrociamo le dita, ma volendo questa è stata una delle utime volte delle calze perché in questi giorni (non ci posso credere!) sono definitivamente andate! Ho già iniziato con vestititi e sandali, questo weekend appena passato poi il clima è stato a dir poco perfetto, che voglia pativo di caldo sulla pelle. Ma pensa te cosa mi fa arrivare a dire questa primavera urenda, che mi ha fatto desiderare l'estate come poche volte nella vita (perché amo e preferisco il clima autunnale.. ma... questo è stato troppo anche per me!). Ma alla fine i 30°C sono arrivati - e godiamoci il clima perfetto di questi giorni perché ho l'impressione che il caldo asfissiante sia proprio dietro l'angolo, che dite, mmm..?!? Sento già lamentele?! Ah ah. No dai! :DDD
Chi vivrà vedrà, intanto siam pronte già da un po' con gli abitini e i sandali a portata di mano, ed è finalmente ora di indossarli. Io vi dico solo che avevo talmente tanta voglia di mettere i vestitini leggeri che ora che ci siamo mi sto cambiando due o tre volte al giorno, ihih. Perché fino all'altroieri mi sono arrangiata sempre con le stesse cose nell'attesa (ed ero proprio stufa marcia di portare la giacca). Difatti ho usato tantissimo questa maglietta in questo periodo, messa e lavata di continuo perché le maniche 3/4 erano l'unica cosa adatta, ma sentivo comunque voglia d'estate e le righe sono l'unica cosa che mi facesse sentire la primavera nonostante il clima folle..:)

With my fingers crossed, this is the last outfit with tights I post since I can't believe they're definitely gone! I already started wearing dresses and sandals, and this weekend it was actually a perfect climate, I really wanted to feel the sun on my skin (and I definitely am not a suntan lover! This dreadful spring made me desire summer like I never did before, since I love autumn weather.. but this was enough, even to me! But finally we got our 30°C climate - and we should really take advantage of it, since I fear the heat is right back the corner, don't you think? Am I already hearing complaints? :DDD
We'll see, in the mean time we were ready with our summer dresses and sandals, and now it's finally time to wear it. Let's just say I was soooo in awe to wear my summer dresses that now I am changing myself at least twice a day, eheh. Since I was bored wearing the same 3 things over and over, and overbored wearing jackets and coats! As a matter of fact I overworn this striped shirt because 3/4 sleeves was the one and only thing I could wear so I was constantly on a wash&wear cycle because a breton shirt made me feel like spring despite the weather.

The Return of the wide leg Jedi.. err.. jeans.

Oh giuoia e gaudio! La primavera è arrivata, ed è durata un paio di giorni! (e poi ha ricominciato a piovere - di nuovo).
Giorni in cui, nonostante i miei super spippoloni sulle calze, non sapevo davvero se metterle o meno... Con il tempo così variabile quindi, per una volta, ho preferito i jeans. Anche su suggerimento del fidanzato che alla mia domanda "calze o no?" ha risposto dicendo che andava bene anche qualcosa di semplice una volta tanto, e chiesto se non avessi ancora dei jeans a qualche parte... Eh sì che ce li ho. Scartati quelli skinny che trovo sempre brutti e che mi stiano proprio male (ogni volta che provo ad infilarli se ne tornano zitti zitti nell'armadio) ho ri-trovato i miei amati vecchi usatissimi jeans. Non sono esattamente a zampa, e nemmeno bootcut.. Come chiamare questo modello? Flared? Sono i jeans normali di qualche anno fa, prima che la foia skinny si impadronisse della normalità. Indossandoli mi sono sentita tornare agli anni universitari...

Oh gawdy! Spring is here, and it lasted for two entire days! (and then it started raining - again).
In which I didn't know what to wear, if putting on tights or not... So I choose jeans, for once. Also by my fiancee's suggestion who answered my question "tights or not?" with another question "you no longer have jeans in your closet?". Yep, I do have jeans. After trying on my skinnies which I really didn't feel like wearing (I hate how they look, they are so unflattering), I throw out my old, well used flared jeans which were the normal cut you'd find around till a few years back, before the skinny jean invasion. By wearing it I felt like getting back to uni years...

Una passione mai sopita, quella per le ballerine. Anche se le porto un po' meno del solito! Colpa degli stivaletti, comodissimi col tempo ancora autunnale incerto.. Ma fra poco, se il bel tempo vero si deciderà ad arrivare (e a fermarsi), li toglierò definitivamente, e allora sarà nuovamente tempo di ballerine. O forse già di sandali, visto che siamo praticamente in giugno! Ma no dai, c'è ancora un po' di spazio per portare le ballerine. Uff che primavera difficile!
Quelle nell'immagine sopra sono tutte di Pretty Ballerinas su Carouzou, uno shop online greco che ho scoperto tramite Polyvore. Non conoscevo nessun negozio greco fino ad ora, e hanno prodotti davvero carini. Il marchio Pretty Ballerinas è comunque anche su Zalando (esiste qualcosa che non è anche su quel sito? :P )

I always loved balle flats, even tho I am wearing it less and less, at least comparing with the past. Of course the fault is this silly autumn spring weather and the fact I'm still wearing my boots... But I hope (we all hope) the weather is going to be better from now on and the ballet flats era starts.. or the sandals one.. Since it's June, already! (oh my, are those months flying or what?) Hopefully there's still quite some time to wear ballet flats. This spring was a total bummer!

Se dovessi andare un po' sull'originale sceglierei queste a righine gialle, le trovo deliziose, e probabilmente più semplici da abbinare di quanto possa sembrare. Molto carine anche quelle a pois, e le classiche bicolore mantellassè tipo chanel, e quelle in cuoio intrecciato e... Ma proseguiamo la carrellata, se iniziamo così poi non la finiamo più :D

If I had to choose just one of those colorful flats, I'd choose these yellow striped with just the right amount of quirky. But I also love the polka dots ones of course, and the classic two tones, and their brown leather ones, and.. Well, let's go on, or we never make it to the end! :D

Ah ah, ci avete creduto eh? Questa foto è del 30 Maggio dell'anno scorso, una delle ultime fatte nel cortile del mio ex palazzo. Ero fuori con i mici... Notare che i leggings li avevo messi più per praticità che per reale bisogno, che si stava da dio. Eravamo completamente immersi nel principio del trasloco, iniziando ad impacchettare scatoloni... Corri di qua e di là, le foto le ho fatte durante una pausa, ma chi aveva tempo per il blog, l'anno scorso?

And please note that the leggings were there most for a practical purpose than a real need, since it was a wonderful sunny day. We were totally into starting packing boxes for our moving, running here and there.. I shot these pics in a pause, but I didn't had any time for my blog, last year.

Little Black Dress: check

Alright, instead of getting better the weather is getting worse, right into the heart of Autumn! On saturday we got a scary storm, and it was like being on a late November.. Even tho the calendar is telling us we are at the end of May we got to keep an eye on what's going on out there, and getting dressed for the weather. So, boots, tights, long sleeves, layering are still here to stay, as well as experimenting since light dresses are not an option yet, but we are tired to wear the same winter things over and over, non?
So here's something I got on my mind from sime time now without ever trying it, but I saw it around in the blogosphere and I like this idea of a shirt under a dress, as if it was a pinafore, and then I never know what to wear with this shirt since plaid shirts are not really my thing - and so why would you buy it, you might ask? But exactly for this purpose: experimenting! I like its feature of dressing down everything its paired with. And you don't have to be afraid of experimenting. And then last year I got me a blue red & white checkered shirt I really loved to pair with my blue things, so I looked for another one on a different color combo, to wear with anything but the usual jeans (which are actually unusual to me).

No vabbè, il tempo invece di migliorare diventa sempre più instabile e autunnale! Sabato sembrava proprio fine Novembre, con un temporale spaventoso!! E nonostante il calendario ci dica che siamo quasi in Giugno, bisogna adattarsi di conseguenza. Ancora calze, ancora manche lunghe, ancora vestirsi a cipolla e ancora sperimentare perché i vestitini estivi non si possono ancora mettere e siamo un po' stanche di portare ancora e sempre le stesse cose invernali, no?!
Ecco qindi qualcosa che avevo in mente da un po' senza averlo mai effettivamente provato, ma l'ho visto in giro per blog e l'idea della camicia sotto al vestitino mi piace, in più questa camicia, nonostante sia versatile, non so mai come metterla, perché le camicie a quadri non sono tanto il mio genere - e che le compri a fare allora mi chiederete? Ma proprio per sperimentare e provare qualcosa di diverso dal solito ma senza esagerare! Mi piace la sua caratteristica di rendere un po' più sportiva qualsiasi cosa, e spesso ho proprio bisogno di questo, nel mio armadio un po' troppo perfettino. Ma non bisogna aver paura di sperimentare. E poi l'anno scorso avevo preso una camicia a quadri blu bianca e rossa che mi son goduta con la gonna blu, e ne ho voluta prendere un'altra che stesse bene con altri colori e altri abbinamenti, al di là dei soliti jeans (in realtà per me decisamente insoliti).

Denim dress bon-ton-ized

I admit it, since I bought this denim dress I have been wearing it no stop! It looks like I was left with only one dress in my closet, but when I fall in love for something I do this all the time. :D
And then it's so comfy, casual yet pretty, and it goes with everything... En plus this silly weather is calling for layers, and this denim shirt dress is quite basic and nice to play with adding colors and layers. Yep, it was a good buy, expecially because I got it for half the price. I love shirt dresses, I can't get enough of it, and since thisone is blue and denim I know I am going to use it for many times to come. Since it is a blue dress after all! and I love blue dresses.
Here I have been trying to pair it with less casual, more colorful things, and a timeless trench coat and mary janes for a classic yet quirky style. What do you think? Does it work?

Lo ammetto, da quando ho comprato questo vestitino non riesco più a togliermelo! Sembra quasi che abbia solo questo nell'armadio, ma quando mi innamoro di qualcosa va sempre a finire che faccio così! :D
E poi è così comodo, casual ma carino allo stesso tempo, e sta bene con tutto... In più questo tempo così variabile chiama vari strati, e questo abito basic è adatto a giocare con le forme e i colori. Sì, è stato un ottimo acquisto, e in più l'ho preso a metà prezzo (ovvero 19.95€). Amo gli abiti chemisier, e col fatto che è blu e in denim lo so, lo metterò ancora e ancora... e ancora!
Perchè in fondo è un vestitino blu! e amo i vestitini blu :)
Qui ho provato a vedere come stava con delle cosine un po' meno casual, con un po' di colore qua e là, più il trench beige e le mary janes per renderlo più bon ton. Che ne dite? Esperimento riuscito?

From Dress to Skirt

Another outfit from last week, after the sore throat and finally having my voice back.. So turtleneck shirt and scarf were a must, even tho temperature are rising we got rain every couple of days (we even had a whirlwind over here just a few days ago!), so to me it's better not taking risks, expecially after drinking a whole bottle of cough syrup in a few days! Which was good enough to make me feel better, but it ain't cheap, so it's better healing to me, since I spent most of the winter with bronchitis, and being sick in May it's not a chance! So that's why I am always bundled up and layered. There will be the time for bare legs, but it's still not that time to me. And after a couple of beautiful weather days, on Sunday we got back to big storms, dark and noisy as if it was the end of the world! Ew.

Un altro outfit della settimana scorsa, appena uscita dal mal di gola e riacquistata la voce.. Quindi collo alto e sciarpina d'obbligo, anche se le temperature salgono qua piove ogni due giorni (persino una tromba d'aria su questa regione!), quindi meglio non rischiare, dopo aver fatto fuori una bottiglia intera di Grintuss in pochi giorni! Devo dire che funziona egregiamente, ma non è affatto economico, quindi meglio guarire, anche perché ho passato buona parte dell'inverno con la bronchite, ed essere ancora ammalata in Maggio mi fa una certa rabbia! Ecco spiegato perché mi copro ancora così tanto. Verrà il tempo delle gambe nude e braccia scoperte, ma non è ancora arrivato, per me. E dopo un paio di bellissime giornate piene di luce, come volevasi dimostrare domenica abbiamo avuto un temporalone coi fiocchi e i cumulonembi, tutto buio come fosse la fine del mondo. Acci. 
E per dire, anche oggi ha piovuto di nuovo. -_-
