Knits in navy & bordeaux

Girando al mercato, e del tutto per caso, ho trovato dei vestitini invernali che sono stati la mia salvezza e la mia rovina assieme: non ho fatto altro che portarli per tutto l'inverno! Caldi pur essendo sottili perché in lana buona (misto sintetico e lana, ma c'è anche una percentuale di cachemire), buon taglio che cade bene, collo largo, maniche lunghe! Mi hanno convinta subito, e alla fine ne ho presi due, uno blu e uno verde scuro. Sì, faccio così, se trovo una cosa che mi piace ed ha tutte le caratteristiche che cerco prendo più di un capo, identico ma in colori/fantasie diverse. Specialmente se lo trovo in saldo o in questo caso con i prezzi del mercato... Due vestitini in lana? Dodici euro. E ammetto che ho pure cercato di contrattare sul prezzo.. Pessima! :P

This winter I casually found some knitted dresses at my local market, dresses that saved and ruined my winter alltogether, since I cannot stop wearing it! Thin but still a warm knit, made of a nice wool (there's also a cachemir percentage in it), flattering, big cowl, long sleeves! They were so perfect I got two of them, in navy and dark green. Yep I am not new on doing thais, buying multiples in different colors/prints if the garnment has many of the features I like to see. Expecially when I find it on sale or at market's low prices... Two woolen dresses? 12€! And I admit I even tried to bargain over the price with the vendor. Bad girl! :P

Wint(age)er

Oggi è talmente grigio fuori che la Primavera mi sembra lontanissima nonostante sia già Marzo. E', in effetti, l'inizio di quel periodo in cui non si sa bene come vestirsi, anche se secondo me possiamo tirare avanti ancora un po' con i nostri abiti invernali. Quindi non mi sembra affatto strano metter su ancora un po' di foto invernali.... In fondo solo dieci giorni fa eravamo sepolti dalla neve, e il cielo azzurro sembra non volerne sapere di mostrarsi.. 
Quando fa davvero freddo, adoro indossare le gonne di lana, sono così calde! In più ce ne sono alcune che creano istantaneamente un look che è un po' retrò ma il giusto, senza strafare. Se vi dicessi che la metà del mio armadio invernale è occupata solo da gonne, mi credeste? :P

It's so cloudy and gloomy today that Spring seems far away even tho it's March already. It is in fact the start of that time of the year when you don't really know how to dress up.. Tho I think we can go on with our winter clothes for a little while. So it doesn't seem out of place to me to publish some more winter pics... We were under the weather just ten days ago, after all, and I am afraid the blue skies are not going to show up at anytime soon.
When it's really cold outside, I really like to wear woolen skirts, they are so warm! Plus there are some that add an instant vintage vibe to the outfit. If I am going to tell you that half of my winter closet is taken by skirts, would you believe me? :P

Another set from my drafts at Polyvore. I feel a little bit more inspired than past two months, and I might be back writing something for the blog too, and maybe seriusly starting taking pics of my outfits. Last couple of months were so few inspirational to me! It has something to do with Xmas time, I think, as I really don't like it and this was so true this year. It's a relief that now the holidays are gone, phew! ;)

Anyway, this set represents me very well: there's many things I like and I sure enjoy to dress like this. Unfortunately I don't have a tapestry bag like that, but it has been on my wish list forever! Someday I'll find the perfect one - or I am going to learn sewing to make it lol!


Un altro set dalle mie bozze su Polyvore. Mi sento un pochino più ispirata che negli ultimi due mesi, e potrei anche tornare a scrivere qualcosina per il blog, e forse anche iniziare seriamente a fare foto dei miei outfits. Gli ultimi due mesi sono stati davvero poco ispirata. Deve avere qualcosa a che fare con il periodo delle feste, credo, perché non mi piace nè mi è mai piaciuto tanto, e quest'anno sono stato particolarmente poco festiva (diciamo anche per niente...). E' un vero sollevo che ora le feste siano finite, fiuuuuuuu!!

Ad ogni modo, questo set mi rappresenta molto bene: ci sono tante cose che mi piacciono e di sicuro mi piace vestirmi in questo modo. E' quasi la mia divisa! Purtroppo non ho una borsa come questa, ma è nella mia lista dei desideri da tempo, magari un giorno troverò quella perfetta - o magari me la cucirò con le mie manine - dopo aver imparato a cucire, lol!

My new set on Polyvore. It seems I was not very inspired lately, as I have started tons of sets and then left them in drafts, and I have not been in the mood to finish it - and by all chance they will never see the light! But I took this off the dust for a fun contest regarding drafts. :)
I love these outfits with berets and knitted vests, they're totally my style. I am always in for a good 30s inspired outfit! :)


Il mio nuovo set su Polyvore. Ultimanente non sono stata molto ispirata: ho un mucchio di set nelle bozze e non sono stata per niente dell'umore di finirli - e probabilmente non vedranno mai la luce! Ma ho tirato fuori questo dalla polvere per un divertentissimo concorso che riguardava i set rimasti ancora in bozza. :)
Mi piaciono tantissimo questi outfits con il berrettino e il gilet di maglia, sono proprio nelle mie corde. Sono sempre pronta per un outfit ispirato agli anni Trenta! :)
